A gegenschein (directly meaning "against shine" or "opposite light") is a non-translatable German term for a twilight phenomenon where light reflects off of atmospheric dust on the opposite horizon of a sunset. Though a heavily expanded color palette, this piece seeks to capture the ever changing and seemingly random nature of a gegenschein.
